Or someone at the factory did, or the truck driver did, or the lab did, or Sam did,or the track did, or Santa did, or Oreo the goat did, or who the fuk ever did.....the point is/was that it was so uncertain and open for debate that something had to be done to restore some sort of confidence all the way around.......on all sides( racer,series,fans)

New Rules have always evolved when the racers outsmart or out think the existing rules or technology comes along that rules need to be written for.( i.e., fuel injection,exotic shocks,pieces of old bed frame welded together by a real smart guy ,etc) .....this new tire deal is no different than any of that and I see the smart guys in all of this from both series continuing to mold it into something everyone for the most part can be happy with.

Right about now would be a really good time for some cool dlm tire innovation......from any of them.....and I'm not really talking just about AR or Hoosier.
