Are you referring to the Sprint Cup series or a Sprint Car series. Sprint Cup is easy considering that Goodyear supplies, delivers, and mounts all tires at the track.

Well the title to the thread says sprint car series. Doesn't say anything about Sprint CUP

Open wheeled sprint cars. Do they groove and sipe, what about compounds are there certain ones they can and can't use, do they test at labs, has anybody been caught cheating in the World of Outlaws?

I've seen the regional guys sipe. Don't believe they groove those.

We talked about this while viewing the World about how sprints have the right tire thing goin' on. Why smack the beehive when the bees are making you honey? I've sat on my hands mostly about this subject because it's stupid and embarrassing to our sport.

If 5 decades of race-fanning has taught me anything, it's that there will always be that same small pocket of consistent winner. Rules changes hasn't, nor will, create a new pool of winners. The cream always rises in any motorsport. Erica Enders-Stevens might disagree this year but that's another thread all unto itself - and likely a temporary thing, anyway.
