If I was to guess so he could get more ump points and lock up the championship but, just a guess, plus they wanted o run the modified and after all it's a free country and they can run wherever they decide too. lol

that track was junk last nite only half the mods finished in 35 laps no prep from hot laps on and the only real passing was a wreck or mishap
