I'm not trying to deflect for anybody. I don't know anyone on this message board minus two people that I go to the races with. (PureDirt30, and J.Steve Davis) I've never understood why anybody gets so worked up on this forum, why someone would get so worked up over people you've never met before. Because they disagree with you? A lot of mentally weak posters on here. If someone disagrees on your opinion, so be it. It sure doesn't my feelings when someone disagrees with me. Talk racing, stop the bs on every thread. Some of us just wanna read racing and not arguments over petty stuff.

Not because they disagree so much as they (he) is/are insulting to our state(assuming that you were born here you are aware of the underdog status WV has had to bear)which tends to make me very sensitive to this type of dialogue.I have worked very hard trying to improve this stereotyping and I will defend our honor until the day I can no longer do so.Can't do the big shows this w/e but will support OVS.Might see you there!

Marlar is certainly good but it's not his living. Saw him win at the other Columbus, MS track a couple of years ago, one where Davenport set fast time the first night and then left when he got busted for juiced tires. Billy Moyer is indisputedly one of the best ever and has made his living for decades off his racing, something very few can say. I've talked to him many times at tracks from MO to AZ to FL over the years and it was always pleasant. Oh, and for losing a step against the big boys, wasn't he running 3rd on the big night at Knoxville when he ran out of fuel on the last lap?
