JD and that weaver car have a love and no hate relationship! JD on pole, Roberts 2nd, Payne 3rd, and Mikey Marler starts 4th.. Brandon Overton will roll off from the 8th position! Should be a decent one

JD set sail and Overton second. That 116 is a fast car week in and week out. JD could make some noise on the Georgia tour this weekend.

Very impressed with Brandon Overton, first time I ever got to see him and he didn't disappoint. Brandon almost got JD a few times.

I agree he is a tough up and comer.. What happened in the Marlar crash? Looked like he was avoiding another car. I was watching on periscope and couldn't see very well

Donald Macintosh slowed getting into one and Casey Robert's spun while leading getting into Macintosh trying to lap him. Marlar spun to keep from hitting Robert's as he came back up the track. Didn't see him hit anything but I don't blame him for pulling in instead of tagging the tail of the field. Especially with Dixie and Rome coming up

marlar frond was smashed in. was a heck of a race in supers. macintosh front end was out of alignment after big crash on back straighaway. you have to like any one driving the Budweiser car. overton was impressive. was not a walk in the park for davenport.

Have to say this was one of the best races I have seen in a while (almost as good as the TH 53 when Terry Casey showed up with his Rayburn Bulldozer). Roberts and Malar had a good 1/2 straightaway on the Davenport and the rest of the pack before the crash. VERY impressed by Overton (DJ goes without saying). For his first trip to The County, he gave JD all he wanted when they caught up to lapped traffic.

Credit to Ray and the track crew. The track was tacky and fast. Pushing the berm up the track and out of the high groove before the Modified Streets ensured 2 good grooves and some really exciting racing.

I do wish the Chastain Bros would have been able to race. I always like to see the local guys defend their home turf and represent.
