Lucas oil rule book for 2017

I'm curious if we see a change in the rules about drivers being on time to events aka in the pits before hot laps. Allow for a couple accidents, but when your points leader shows up late 1/4 of the season, it's kind of a slap in the face to the series marketing and publicity. Respect for the talent and wins, but if I'm a series this would be a point I'd make sure to address

The fire racker was soon after the world. So you know woo checked his tires after the fire cracker. Also, you know woo wasnt happy with Bloomer winning the cracker.

I could see a rule stating that you have to be in the pits at least an hour before hot laps so proper tech can be done being added. Not that tech at late model races is all that time consuming, but still, it's a way to ensure that all your touring drivers are ready to go when the time comes. Of course, if there are genuine hauler issues or something, there could be a waiver of sorts, but they would make it so you have to somehow prove you had issues.

Lucas oil wont have to rewrite rule book. All they have to do is tell bloomer he cant dope tires.

So B-Shep and Owens are still allowed to but Bloomer can't soak em anymore? That's BS...

Fixed that for ya. This year at the PRI show is a safety meeting, so expect some rules about mandatory safety equipment that will be required.

Again more rules when they can't or won't enforce some of the simplest rules that are already written.

The fire bottles and ignition kill switches are two things I'm sure will be added.

Id like to see them make full containment seats mandatory as well, especially after the whole Unger deal at eldora. We don't need anymore of that happening.

You really should check your stats before shouting off at the mouth. Lernerville, and Smokey Mountain, wins, and he most certainly has a target on him with WoO.

And if he has something blatantly obviously different, like JD, they'll outlaw it too. They got his shocks the year before or so, but guess what, you get over it and move on. Not continue to whine about it like you and a few others.

U cannot tech talent. Scott drives the smoothest of any driver out there right now. When you see Superman up top balls to the wall (litterly) he is losing time and burning tires off. Scott's car is rarely sideways like with the wheels cranked hard right. He may do it but never his style. I still say that JD's team found something that worked within the rules before Scott figured it out last year. Thats racing folks. Im not saying JD cant drive but he will never be up front CONSISTENTLY the way Scott does.

Re-write the rule book and the cream will always rise to the top and haters will always hate!

That goes the other way to. Constantly boasting how good he is and this that and the other. Members think im red azzed cuz jd dnt win title. Well im not. Ik it was going to be tough to repeat. I understand that some members also hate when jd wins but thats ok they have there own opinions to. Just enjoy the race that you attend and root for whoever.
