Good crew guys get paid for a good reason. I'm not going to dismiss car setup but I'll take a guy who can predict how the track will look lap to lap everyday of the week. Give that guy a setup book that comes with the car and I bet his car wins more races, and not just a couple more. Knowing the dirt is an art form that very few possess believe it or not. Scott is one of the best at that which makes him look even better as a driver.

At this level, it's ALWAYS about tires. Excluding the obvious,ie; breakage,flats,dropping a cyl...etc. tires/compounds are what wins races. Bloomer has notes from every track he has ever raced on. They all do.

Got beat bad last year and got saved by the rule makers slowing the 6. Any time he got beat this year, I would say tire choice was the real reason most of the time. He is in a class of his own this year.

Is there a subject that Bloomquist has used for excuse more than tires? This has to be his #1 excuse. I like Bloomquist but in almost all his post race interviews after he didn't win he will use tires as reason why he didn't win. You can bet it's coming.... His were too soft, His were too hard, His RF was to Hard, His tire need 20 more laps, His tire needed 20 less laps and on and on. And now the media wants to get involved and say the outcome might have been different if Bloomquist would of had different tires. What about the other 23 drivers that might of had the wrong tires? The outcome might have been different if they all had different tires. Part of the game. How come Bloomquist doesn't get out after a big win and say I won this race because I had the different tires?

Put a set of Sumitomos on your vehicle, then put a set of Pirellis, Michelins, or Goodyears on it. Lemme know which ones you like better. Tires are everything, without them, you don't move. With the wrong tire choice, the best car out there set up wise could be just a big pile of sh!t. But if you don't like Bloomer anyway, then yeah it annoys you. But that's what bothers him, losing. The first thing on his mind is why didn't I win, not thank the sponsors, fans, be fake. What did I fuk up to lose.
