Not in Tennessee. The owners of 411 did lose their lumber yard which has been a family business for many years.

Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are getting hit hard right now. Fires have been bad all around me for the last month or so. Thoughts a prayers to everybody that have lost family members and property because of it

Some real nice places to go to have burned down.. Big lose to the people that live there ...Its a real nice place....

it is a real nice place and it looks pretty bad... many have been evacuated probably to show back up and have everything be a total loss

Some of the Old cabins that Burned can be rebuilt but not replaced.. new is not all way better....Looks like its going to get bad be for it gets better....

So sad to hear, my wife and I was just there this past October. We have been trying to make it a yearly visit to the smokies. Prayers to all those involved.

I was South of Atlanta about halfway to the Florida border a couple months ago, stopped along the high way and it was extremely dry there and they weren't really in the drought area. I can't imagine what it was a bit farther north.

Really hard to watch. I've been going to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge my whole life, and remember when most of PF would be closed for the season about right now. Some really good folks losing their livelihoods in this situation.

I live a little over two hours south and we're almost 20 inches below normal rainfall for the year. It is raining at a pretty good clip right now though. Mountains all around us have been on fire over the last couple of months including one about 3 miles from my house. Though luckily nothing like what's going on in GB. Not something you see much in this area.

Hopefully this rain helps out a ton, and people can begin the cleanup and rebuilding of a nice area.

Alamo Steak House is gone,that sucks. I'm in western NC roughly 2 hrs from that area and we are surrounded by fires in NC,Tennessee and N. Ga.Hopefully this rain will help get them under control.They arrested a suspect this evening that is believed to have started some of them in NC.
