Question: Bloomquist is pictured on the race teaser but I was under the impression that he wasn't going to go. I'd be surprised if he was going, doesn't really seem like his type of event unless his sponsors want him there. You can bet he won't be taking his best piece if so.

It is the inaugural race, I'm not sure if I'd go as to far as to say it is a "prestigious" event, but I hope it goes well and becomes one. Bloomquist missed a few "prestigious" events this year....oh wait lol

It will be interesting to watch the progress, where are they getting the dirt?

Not sure on that one. I'm sure Kevin and the guys have contacts in the area and found some good stuff. I know the chili bowl has a place a couple miles from the Expo center where they keep the dirt and use the same stuff every year.
