And you don't involve some innocent bystander like that #7 car.
cnbf, I know you're too smart and too much of a true race fan than to go for that BS and I feel the same way. Part of the reason for our interest in the open wheel stuff is equal to the fendered racing is because there is much, much less of this kind of stuff going on in the open wheel ranks. In most cases there is a lot more mutual respect among the drivers and the ones that are reckless and without respect come under prompt and stern "advisement".

I only point out the fact that a lot of people DO go for this kind of nonsense because oft times it's the primary reason for them to buy a ticket. It's exactly why Bowman-Grey Stadium is nearly sold out every week of their season.

I espouse to the Jack Hewitt policy on these types of situations. A punch in the nose usually goes much further in getting the point across than tearing up racing equipment.

I agree and disagree at same time. Yes most fans love that stuff. But at same time I'm sure nobody wants to see somebody get hurt or worse just to retaliate. Not to mention the thousands of dollars worth of equipment they tear up when they do that. I'm just giving my opinion but with the season we've had with the injuries and deaths we don't need anymore. That's my point behind it. Why take that chance. And to be honest if anybody should've retaliated under that caution flag it should've been Nosbich cause Bronson could've avoided the whole thing by the looks of the video. But that video could be deceiving. Maybe he didn't really have the room that it looked like he did. I just don't want to see another driver on the injured list.

fastford i have to agree with you on this one here buddy... Regardless of if he had of been tested and came back clean that thieving hothead needs disiplined by someone whether it be the track or sanctioning body itself... No need what so ever for that kind of wrecklesness in Racing of anyform....
If you can't race it or take it to bed! It ain't worth having!

Agreed. And in open wheel there is much less leeway. Someone is getting hurt you pull this stuff there. I mean vehicle wise get hurt.

And Bowman-Gray, wth ever. That is somewhere I'd never waste my money. I don't understand them people. Never been to Salem, Winchester, Hickory, or Anderson, but I'm guessing they actually race at them tracks.

And yes, Jacks' policy was a great one. Bronson is a big SOB, and I don't think Keith could hold his own with him. But I also wouldn't just take his sh!t either. I know ya know Jack, and man, just from his book, he'll always be one of my favorites.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Not trying to pile on Bronson here but I had never heard of him until after Eldora, he ran good there and decent the next week at Magnolia. Watching his interviews on DOD I could tell something wasn't right between the ears there. Doesn't have anything to do with his down south accent (I have a pretty bad one too), just the lack of comprehension of some questions and the way he answered them, I almost hoped that he was on something mind altering to cause that. Kind of like a Bloomer interview lol (sorry couldn't resist)

Did you mean to say Bronson and Death Wish in the same sentence or was that coincidence? Charlie Bronson was never that crazy!

Yeah. But it was a UMP race, not an outlaws one. Same difference, just saying.

Wayne Hammond in the 40B at East Bay instead of Bronson.I don't know if East Bay suspended Bronson (they definitely should have) of if car owner/sponsors benched him for his antics
