Our rooms were $130 a night a couple blocks away, tickets $80 for 2 nights, we go to Knoxville every year and a bit more expensive but not bad. Main differences were we had to hotel it instead of camping and beer was a lot more expensive inside the dome. $8.50 for a 16oz BL. Had a great time, no problems at all. Had a good time at Ballpark Village after the races were over, lots of stuff to do around the city, just wish the weather would've been nicer.

thanks to all for the responses. I attend races on a limited budget, with my father when possible, and I was curious what costs were. I quit attending nascar races when the lodging industry decided to price gouge to the extreme, so was curious what St L did. honestly, the Knoxville/Pella hotels have become pricier as the LM Nats have grown. and I've never checked what they get for the sprint nationals.

last call: I love the idea of racing in December. but I think I will watch from afar. too many other bigger/better shows I would rather spend my money on in the summer. which is the reason I asked if you would return in year 2 or if this was just for the novelty of the event.

Calverton: almost, but not quite, feeling bad for attacking you. but besides your normal trolling, which usually just has me yelling STFU at my monitor, this show in your hometown pushed me over the edge. I will now go back to my regular routine of just ignoring your incessant babble. have a nice day.

About 900 bucks per suite each night, that was for 12 people and pretty sure that includes pop and popcorn. You could purchase different food packages and the alcohol was cheaper than buying it at the concession stand

How was the parking around the dome. Was there accessible park near buy and did it cost anything. Any tips on hotels.

We parked at our hotel 4 blocks away Friday night for $15 a night. We checked out Saturday and parked directly across the street from the dome Saturday afternoon and paid $5 to park there for 12 hours and drove home afterwards. Parking wasn't much of an issue. Had a friend park at Lumiere Casino for free Saturday and they have a tunnel with escalators from just outside the dome to there.
