Flight was cancelled about 1030 on Friday. I had left early and made it down to Lincoln, when I got the email. Now I am taxed with finding a new race too attend as this trip was my Christmas present from my wife. I am not a fan of FL, so I won't be going down there during speedweeks. I am also perplexed by the strong central IL racing schedule this year. I thought about taking off some weekend and going down south too enjoy some racing, but the addition of sprints, midgets and other big shows around here, doesn't leave many weekends open for traveling to a new to me track.

Not a big track fan per se. Thinking weekend of March 24-25........Magnolia and I-30 WoO..........It also will keep me from breaking down and giving Izzo money. Can't do that if I am 650 miles away.Comment

This would be a 1550 mile road trip. Spent 20 years in a semi, so the driving isn't an issue, and would give me 2 new tracks. I have been by I 30 a bunch of times, but never got to stay and see a race there.Comment
