"The Pelican" is being postponed to next Friday, March 17th due to inclement weather forecast for this Saturday.

We will add a practice on Thursday night, March 16th from 7pm to 10pm so see you then!

They cancel/postpone the darn thing almost every year it seems. Can't catch a break.

Right?! 7 have been scheduled. 5 have been affected by rain. 2012 version was held on a rescheduled weekend (usually not a good idea and it wasn't then). 2014's two-day was reduced to a one-day Friday-night show due to an impending rainout on Saturday with 45 outstanding entries in the pits. Last year saw both the original weekend and the make-up rained out, then flooded out... like roads leading to the track under water...

But 2015 beat all I ever saw... SNOWED out back-to-back weekends!

Really thinking better luck is on the way next week though...
