Not sure how I got wrapped up in this thread. I was at Farmer City last night.Originally posted by zyoung25 View PostYou called that one. One 4m whackjob later, we're all confused.
Back on topic...those XR1's must be pretty durable. Their at the end it looked like the only survivors left were Rockets. At one time it was Josh, Shepp, Satterlee, Moran, and Culp.8/13/16

At least you got the fool part right. All drivers, 14, which is unanimous, voted BEFORE the race to only award show up points.Originally posted by racingfool32 View PostWas that before or after bloomquist broke?Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. My God
This thread should be about Sharon and how it just didn't turn out well.
Not whining about Bobby, who was not there, never planned on going.
Trolling one person, talking to yourself.
When all your drivers vote to make it show up points, it's not BS. They realize the track is bad, and don't want to force each other into sh!tty conditions. The amount these cars cost, I don't disagree with their choice. Sucks for everyone involved, but you just deal with it, and reach a compromise, and move on.
I know those actually responding about the race are mad at Sharon and you have reason to be. But, they absolutely needed new dirt, and this is the third try at this race. And it took them a few years to get Lucas. So on one hand, they made a serious effort to improve the track. And in the long run, I think it'll be really good for them. Having Lucas as the first race was risky, and hopefully they didn't ruin their reputation too bad. But I know there wasn't any good make up dates available, because the last two were not made up.
Clay was put down before the New Year, I wanna say in October. Not positive. They had Port Royals help, so I know they tried to do it correctly. I feel bad for the Daves. They are trying to bring the place back.
Bad deal for all involved, hopefully it turns out good for Sharon in the long run. We know Lucas and the fans will be ok.Last edited by chupp n bloomer fan; 04-22-2017, 06:26 AM.Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normalâ€.

Lol. Well, watch the video. Was 100% the right call. All 14 drivers agreed to it. And I'd bet it's in their handbook or rules about adverse track conditions/weather, and that they can change points/laps, at their discretion.Originally posted by 3 wide View PostWell that's not right you can't change the rules in the middle of the game .Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Whether or not the drivers agreed on it (which obviously they did), this has to be the most disappointing trend that is starting to happen with these big two national series. Deciding not to count points because the track sucks. Like 3 wide said, I am loosing interest in caring about points when they just pick and choose when they want to count the points. That isn't really fair to the fans who want to see their drivers run hard and not pull off the track to save their stuff because it is a non points race. Same thing down in Florida where they have the "Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series" banners hanging at the track but only make half of the events point races. I'm just not into it, but that's my opinion. I'm sure plenty will disagree.
