Many reasons other than that as to a lower car count. Multiple races in various series going on at the same time in same region. Fayetteville isn't known as a very racy track, weather I'm sure was shaky up until race day, could be wrong on that one. And frankly, supers cost so much to race, just not as many around. And it'll continue in that direction.Originally posted by Cardirt0 View PostMakes you think that all the $hit going on is showing up, or as they say, not showing up at the tracks...Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normalâ€.

This is why people in the Fairbury area need to not take for granted just how good they have it. 25 car count on a normal 1500 to win race night.Originally posted by onlyfacts View Post21 cars at Fayetteville is about normal.. 22 last year at Lucas race there, 26 last year at WOO race. A few cars had trouble at Gaffney on Friday that cost them a few cars.

With Peoria down, and they usually get some testers before a big weekend, is 25 really that strong?

It's a good car count when 1st only scores 1500.I was still getting at how a few of these WOO and Lucas races pay out 10 to 15k and have a hard time getting 22 cars.Originally posted by turnleftandgasit View PostWith Peoria down, and they usually get some testers before a big weekend, is 25 really that strong?

Maybe guys in Peoria area and other areas can't get out because of flood waters and damage? They showed a major bridge on the news that was washed out and the detour was an extra hour drive.

Friday night, Gaffney had 31 cars (they always have a full field for most anything). Fayetteville has 21 cars and last Saturday, in the area, Dublin had 24 cars for the Ultimate race. All three races were paying $10,000. Possibly, fewer cars to go around with multiple events running?
