Nice to see my old friend Joe Verdegan in the announcing booth helping out last night. Joe worked for me as a promising 15 year old at 141 Speedway in the 80's...

The folks at Luxemburg take racing seriously... we pumped 500,000 gallons of water off the track for an IMCA National Series race years ago... only ran an hour late. Good to see they continued the never say die attitude!

New promoter Eric Mahlik has been a God send helping to keep the track open last year after the county (again) proved to be SOB's to deal with in contract negotiations.

Something folks didn't see at three o'clock in the afternoon ,the water truck out on the track literally trying to drown it with mass quantities of water. Self inflicted damage call by Lucas that backfired and Mother Nature got the blame.

That may be the single worst shirt idea in DLM souvenir history. It's offensive, vulgar, and lacking in intelligent thought. It automatically alienates a significant portion of potential customers with the crude, poorly thought out design. Whoever thought that selling it is a good idea is a moron, period.

I don't know what's worse, the people who thought it was a good idea to make and sell that garbage or the kind of person who thinks it's cool and wears something like that.
