I'm curious what you're basing that on. They announced last night it was the first-ever appearance there for a national series. The crowd was one of the smaller I've seen for a WoO show. I saw many fans on social media saying they didn't come because of the prices. It was a great show. Everyone there had to love it. But it seems the admission prices kept a lot of people away. -
"Traveling SLM series" includes SAS, Ultimate, Ray Cook, etc., which have attracted cars and fans. I suspect Senoia is among the smallest to host WoO. Only the Masseys know the financial details, and they'll bring back WoO if financially do-able. Maybe next year they'll get more love from Dixie.Comment

I was referring to the two national series. That's what the announcers kept throwing out there. I enjoyed myself, but many of the local fans stayed away, because of the admission prices.Comment

If it is a capacity issue maybe they could add some bleachers in turn four like Boyd's did last year. I love Senoia and it can be one of the best if not the best places to see a race in the SE. I usually fork over whatever price is asked to see a race but my wallet just couldn't do it for this show. I remember them charging $25 general admission last year for a SAS race. Paid $4000-$5000 to win I believe. Not sure how feasible it is to add seating there but think that would help out if possible.Comment

I think Doug and the Masseys are only leasing the track, but they did build a shed at the pit entrance, upgraded the restrooms, and hauled some gray clay from somewhere. Usually leasors don't spend for track and facility updates. I hope they'll be able to buy it and add some seating.Comment

That clay is gray gumbo and it is fantastic. The racing surface is the hardest part of the deal and they've got it mastered. They just need to get everything else right. They're sitting on a gold mine if they get it figured out.Comment
