    Kenny Schrader To Be Inducted

Kenny Schrader will be inducted into the United States Auto Club Hall of Fame at Lucas Oil Raceway in Brownsburg, IN on July 20th.

Besides being the 1982 USAC Silver Crown Champion, the 1983 USAC National Sprint Car Champion and having a solid 21 wins in USAC National Midgets Schrader had some success over the years driving a dirt late model, as well.

Congrats to Kenny Schrader and all the 2017 USAC HoF inductees!

A true racer's racer! Someone who would race anything, anywhere, anytime. I believe he used to have streaks where he'd literally race every night in any given month over the summer...midgets, sprints, late models, and obviously his NASCAR career. They used to have Kenny Schrader night at LaSalle back in the late 90's. I remember him starting and finishing 8th one night, and it was clear he was wired to think "This thing has to last me 500 miles" even though it was a 25 lap feature.

A very clean, smooth driver, and a genuinely nice person. Glad to see him being honored!

Congrats to Kenny on a well-deserved honor. I'm looking forward to seeing him run his IMCA modified this Friday in Jackson, Minnesota.

I can't remember exactly, but back in I guess the 90's, I read he raced like 200 plus nights a year.

Wasn't it Kenny's dad who put a post of some sort in the yard, with a rope from the post to Kenny's peddle car and the very young racer was born?

all I can say is if you can slow him down and catch the guy when he isn't heading to another race there isn't an easier guy to talk to. seen him handle the drunks, the idiots, the know it alls, and every thing in between.

not sure where I fit in (probably all three at one time or another!)!!!

Class act and a great ambassador for racing. If you ever get the chance to talk ask about his memories of Larry Phillips, some great stories.

Kenny says in his biography that he idolized Larry Phillips, Dean Roper and Sheldon Kinser. He named his son after Sheldon Kinser.
