I ended up sittin next to his parents earlier this year at Rome. Little brother struck up a conversation with them over a box of McIntosh tshirts ,and thats when it was revealed they were his folks and selling merch. Really nice folks. I love stories like this. I've had many similar experiences when my son was a youngster. There's a lot of ways people become fans of particular drivers and it doesn't always start with what's happening on the track. We've had the pleasure of watching and meeting Donald at several local shows here in Georgia and he is indeed one of the good guys.
