Seeing him early on at Dublin and Fayetteville 5 plus years ago,i would have never predicted him getting so good .........good on him, seems like a pretty normal guy too.

He is really good wheel man. But have to say that weaver car is one the best top 5 cars on the track. Randy was winning a lot races before his accident. Jd jumped in it and win. If you are a good wheel man, you will win in that car seems like. Big debate who has best car out there Randy, Scott, rocket house, best performance motorsports and you can put long horn house car in the mix.

Last I heard they were running a mixture of D3 engines from Cornett and RY45 engines from Durham.

I don't know how accurate the post race write up articles on DoD are but they've all listed him as running a Durham engine this year.

They switched to Durham around the time the spring nats started, in and around early March. He had a cornett ford in at golden isle.

They were running a Cornett engine at Boyd's this week. A member of the crew said they still have both. If you look at the photos in certain races you can see red valve covers of the Cornett engines and other races you can see the valve covers are black.

Yea I worded it wrong. Like said above I think they have ran both this year. I can't remember what race interview it was, he thanked Andy which I thought was weird at that time. I'm pretty sure it was a spring nats race though. Anybody that's followed Randy over the years knows he's always been a Cornett ford man. I went to their website and looked, they had Durham and cornett both listed.
