Ryan was a part time crew member on Mason's team, and Mason's best friend... they had planned on running I-80, Brownstown IL, Fairbury and Cedar Lake... but with the sudden tragic event they headed home Tuesday morning...

Speaking only for myself, as a yearly attendee, Lake doesn't move the needle for me one way or the other. Only reason he even got on the fansfund is b/c he led a few laps at a eastbay tv race and tangled with one of the "big boys."

There's 50 drivers I'd rather see at CL next week...
Overton, Weaver, Unzicker, Wenger, McIntosh, Ronnie Lee Hollingsworth, Hudson O'Neal, Brady Smith, Austin Hubbard etc.

Thanks for making my point for me. I'd rather see a guy like Brady Smith behind the wheel for the 1st time in over 2 years, than a brat like Lake.

There will be 50+ other drivers to watch, so I'm none too concerned. That said, hope the young man & his family enjoy their experience.

Nick Anvelink is planning on being at Cedar Lake. He's also planning to run Plymouth (Monday), Oshkosh (Tuesday), Shawano (Wednesday), and then off to Cedar Lake. Billy Moyer Sr. and Shane Clanton are also planning on going to Plymouth on Monday night.

Maybe McGrath will head over there. Mike Mullen will be in La Salle with the modified.

Anvelink and Swedberg have been to CL the last couple years which is nice to see. McGrath and Taylor Scheffler have been up too. Think there's a good chance all 4 are at Plymouth tomorrow. They're going to have a nice field of cars at that 4k show.

Might see some of the Lucas guys at Oshkosh on Tuesday. T-mac, Bloomer, EPJ, O'Neal all have laps at the place from '15 & '16 Lucas race.
