Everyone likes different types of seats, but when i go to CL I like sitting in section I, J or K the higher up the better. You get to see turns 3/4 and the run to the flagman very well, have a good view of the scoreboard, close to concession and rest rooms and good view of the overall track. If you like watching the pit action then section A, B or the back stretch close to pit road are best. The back stretch isn't bad and you feel close to the cars, I just prefer the front stretch.

Our group sits on the backstretch, 3 rows from the top. You can clearly see the entire track. There's a concession stand, souvenir shop and restrooms, just like the frontstretch.

Top rows of the Backstretch bleachers are much higher than the frontstretch. Frontstretch has reserved boxes and the souvenir alley with driver's t-shirt trailers, etc.

Most of the seats at CL are "reserved" for USA nats event. General admission on the backstretch is bottom 6 rows of bleachers.

Its not going to be very hot next weekend by the current forecast, but for part of the evening, you are looking into the sun on the backstretch seating. Not sure where there is more seating available since we have reserved seats every year.

Backstretch has more parking available. Concessions are the same, bathrooms are a bit better.
Frontstretch parking is tight and more busy, souvenir alley.

Its easy to walk from 1 side to the other, around turns 3 & 4, so really the parking and such isnt a big deal. All really depends on where you like to see cars on the track. We sit in section A on the frontstretch because we like watching the cars dive into T1.

We sit on the backstretch in section U in the lower bleachers. Little dirty but your on top of everything and Saturday's interdictions are perfect from there.

Thanks everyone for your input and suggestions, I appreciate it! This will be our maiden voyage to Cedar Lake, my wife is a BIG Mac Daddy fan! I'm hoping Jimmy Owens shows up, but we'll have to see. Thanks Again.

Cheese curds and green chili burrito are a must for newbies!
Get there early to beat the parking lot Rush.

So it sounds like they get big crowd on Saturday . I was wondering what the best track food is available at CL.
