Great move by Overton off of 4 in lap traffic with 2 to go to pass McIntosh for the win. Overton played the lap traffic perfectly. Great run for Billy Ogle Jr. he has struggled so much this year, but maybe he can turn things around for a strong end of the year. Another impressive run by Dakota Knuckles for only his 4th super late model race. Finally Congratulations to the Big Buck Shanon Buckingham on another solid run and another 2nd place finish in the points.

Just watched the race on DoD, and the pass off of 4 was ridiculous! Overton and those guys continue to have an amazing year.. I think he'll get a crown jewel or 2 before the end of the season..

Who was the driver carted off from the infield on a stretcher to the ambulance? I was there and could not hear the announcer. We are still baffled as to what even happened to get to that point. We were sitting low at the entrance to Turn1.

The driver was Chicky Barton in the 144. The drive shaft broke and came into the c0ckpit and got his leg. I heard he was doing ok, nothing broke lucky just really sore.

I've seen that happen before but not with a LM. The guy didn't get hurt but it did some damage. They put in a new safety rule not long after.
