    WoO - Cedar Lake points

How can the WoO award only show-up points for one of the largest purse events of the year? The Thursday event which was ran on Friday paid $6k to win and they awarded full points. Makes no sense but it is their sandbox to make a mess in as often as they want.

Likely, because of the amount of cars they predict to have. Just a guess

Car count shouldn't affect a points night.

Are the WoO points really relevant at this point anyway?

If it wasn't for Frankie, B Shep was the only Outlaw in the top 10. Maybe they're trying to keep Madden as close as possible. WoO points battle is pretty much over barring a miracle.

Not defending WoO on this one....

But the answer to the ? is because this is what WoO has done since they took over sanctioning of this race.

My guess is due to the following:
          1) Cedar Lake dictates the tire rules for the event
          2) CL will prep the track as many times as they see fit during the evening
          3) CL hands out both a fansfund and past champions provisional on top of WoO's provisionals

Let's be honest...the only drivers the show up points helps are Bagley and Chubb.
