    Biggest story from the weekend

Processing all the info but the contenders are

    1. Don Oneil wins the USA Nats. Impressed

    2. Davenport wins twice in new car. Impressed

    3. Midway rained out without rain. Straight outta the Miley/PPMS playbook. Not impressed

    4. Elkins and Dog Hollow briefly became the center of the late model universe. Laughing

    5. Blair swept Stateline and Eriez. Meh

#1. Don said after the race it wasn't about the money. It was winning the crown jewel.

JD won nearly 10k$ this weekend and is discounted.....not a peep about BMJ. I agree that JD beat out less than stellar crowds but a spade is a spade.

He beat some pretty good regional/local guys in their own sandbox.. Sandboxes he'd never seen before, in equipment he'd never sat in.. Sorry, but that is impressive...
I don't always post on 4m.. But when I do, I'm usually sitting on the crapper!!

Oh hell. Marlar got more than that running 2nd at Cedar Lake. I'm going to say Pierce got more than that for running 3rd. Y'all need to give it up over the money. He won a couple of regional races so good for him. Let's revisit all this next weekend after the north south.

BMJ won two races also. He had to drive 6 hrs one way for one of them. Better than 10 hrs one way tho

So wth difference does it make where they want to race. There original destination got rained out so they chose another track. At least there not a keyboard racer like you. You have been a series champ at it!

There is no denying that sir. I only meant to compare their weekends since thats the discussion here. JD gets beat up for winning some regional stuff at new tracks and with new equipment. Totals up to $9,400 I think it was? Also the fact, that he was headed to Midway for stiffer competition before the cancellation. If I were already up the road, I would have went to the nearest decent paying show as he seemed to. All this while BMJ ,an established team, picks up a comp cams and ms state race for $4500. It dont matter to me if either guy wins every event they enter the rest of the year, or if they stay at the house! Just seems to me the wrong guy is getting slammed for winning.

This is what dd45 thrives on. He loves to talk jd down when he sits home and dnt go to any races himself

I'm willing to bet if these numb skulls whining about where people race got out their checkbooks and wrote these teams a nice sizable check they would race where ever they wanted them to.
