You two dipsh!ts can laugh all you want. You obviously have no idea how scales work, and how seriously their accuracy is taken. I've been in construction my whole life. The previous seven years I worked for a company who sold material to the state, federal government, private customers, and cities. Your scales are calibrated every year and certified. And they do get messed up. This isn't a put it in 10 years ago and leave it thing. They require yearly maintenance and testing. All parts of them do go bad.

And before someone comes back with this isn't commerce stuff, it is. You are paid on whether or not you make weight. You can cross that finish line first a million times, you don't make weight, you get DQued. And I don't give a sh!t what driver we are taking about, any of them have the right to check scales if they think they are off. I would knowing what I know after working around them for seven years.
