Got to hand it to him, he started way back and motored to the front then laid down the fastest laps of the race.

He pitted really early with Rettig on lap 20 or so.

Yes he pitted. About the same time as Rettig. Around lap 48 or so.

somewhere around lap 50 he got tires. He was running 20th mid race. Took the lead on lap 65. Passed 20 cars in 15 laps. He should thank Rettig. Rettig was the first to go up on the high side and Scott just followed him around every car. On lap 65 Rettig had a flat tire and Scott took the lead.
