How can the winner starting 23rd in a day race and winning make this the worst race of the year? I mean if you don't like Scott, sure, but that's better than 1-15 finishing where they started.

The fact that everyone had to pit for tires, and what about 30 freaking cautions make a (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)y race and if you did take care of your tires like Peterson (Pearson) and Owens you ended up getting penalized for it. There was nothing entertaining about this race. Bloomer Fans I said the GIS races sucked as well and one of those Bloomer was the last place car.

Lol at folks talking about it being a terrible race. I've been to plenty of 100 lap races that stayed one lane the whole 100 laps. I was at Topless a few years back that was rained out and then ran on Sunday. Bloomer won and led every lap, wasn't much passing on that day. Today, two cars took a chance and tried the next lane up. The next 10 laps was as interesting as you will see anywhere. Then, with the right rears popping like they always do at Batesville the last 30 laps and never knowing who is going to have a flat next just made it better. This race could have been a ton worse.

I am glad the race got better 2nd half...I was already upset with LORTV for their horrible and unexcusable production, including not airing either b-main races due to "technical difficulties". Bloomer, Satterlee, and Rettig were all impressive. Erb Jr was solid as were Owens and Babb until late problems. Same with Richards and T-Mac. Nice to see Jared Landers have a decent weekend. Maybe next year he can race full time again.

41 cars by todays standards is a success. How many more do you need, 81? Then you bellyache leaving late because you sat through an hr of qualifying, 6 heats and 3 concis, then the feature is a train because it would take another 45 minutes to an hr to farm the track.

I have never seen a race any better or worse, based on the number of cars who did not make the feature. Whether 15 go home, or 50, it really doesn't make much difference.
