I spoke with Chub briefly after the WoO show at Shawano. Looks like he was alone except for a young fella who was changing the dizzy and not doing it correctly. Pretty hard to run that series alone or with marginal help.Member of the Luxemburg Speedway Hall of Fame

Heck I think winning the World 100 was a curse for him. Ever since then it has been all down hill for him. The shop fire, major accidents, etc. Heck he was always good for dropping into Lernerville throughout the season three or four times when the WoO was off and pick up some easy money but anymore he is mid-pack at best against the Lernerville regulars when he stops.Originally posted by Highwayman View PostComment
