Race: Wayne Burns Memorial 40 at Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN., Burns was the former promoter at the facility. It will be race #11 on the 2017 Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series schedule. The 40 lap main event will pay $4.000 to win and will be the third race of the season at the track.
Past Southern All Stars at Thunderhill Raceway: Byron Michael; Johnny Williams, Mark Fields, Brad Skinner, Dane Dacus
Procedure: The starting field is set for 24 cars, including provisionals. There will be 2 SUNOCO Race Fuels qualifying groups with the top 5 from each group locked in. PPM Racing Products B Mains will determine up to 22 starters with the final two spots for highest driver in the 2017 Southern All Star Dirt Racing points standings.
