Where are you watching a race this weekend? I'll be camping at Tyler County Speedway starting this evening. Hoping Harvey doesn't bring too much rain. What about everyone else?

Hangin' out and havin' some fun campin' and boatin' at our favorite lake in deep Southern Illinois since Tuesday and we'll stay at the lake 'till the Tuesday after Labor Day.

Sunday night of Labor Day Weekend we'll be going to over to the Du Quoin, Illinois State Fairgrounds 1 mile dirt oval, The Magic Mile, for the Ted Horn Memorial 100 USAC Silver Crown event. There were 41 cars at Springfield and USAC is expecting about that many for the Horn Memorial at Du Quoin.

Then Monday afternoon we'll be watching dirt late model guy, Ryan Unzicker, race against the ARCA regulars at The Magic Mile in the Southern Illinois 100 ARCA stock car event. Unzicker wadded up the #24 Hendren ARCA car pretty bad at Springfield. The Hendren team took completely disassembled the car and took it to North Carolina and got it fixed and straightened and it's going to be ready to mix it up at Du Quoin. Hopefully Unzicker can keep it off the wall and finish at Du Quoin.
