World 100 Party or lack of it?

That I'm not real sure of. I know it locked traffic up for quite awhile. I'm thinking they airlifted the person, I could be wrong (I am getting old.) I always heard they were on a golf cart and got hit by a car. I know the next year, you were not allowed to cross the road on carts anymore, and they put those lights out by the road.

I have been going to the World 100 for the last 6 years and it used to be a great exciting party, I stay in the Speedy campgrounds and the party has been non-existent the last 3 years, its like staying at a senior citizens campgrounds. Is the party still going on at Eldora or am I staying in the wrong camping area? If I am in the wrong area where do I need to be for the party and the ladies?? Fellow race fans please chime in!
