Will concede the World 100 is the grand daddy of them all but this event is very special. 2006 Brian Shirley last to first over Tony Stewart.....2008 McCrede's last turn hail Mary to defeat Josh Richards.....2010 Moyer sweeping all three nights.....2014 Brian Birkhofer's story book last lap victory over Bloomquist. 100 laps of speed,strategy, endurance and the best format that rewards drivers to go all out all three nights.

As a yearly visitor to Knoxville for the sprint car Nationals I can't wait to come back there for the LM's. It's been 10 years since I last saw the lates race there. This is truly a special place.

The more I think about a gas stop during the race, the more I like the idea. It should be a hammer down race after the fuel stop.
