Very, very sorry to hear this. I knew he was having health issues but I had no idea they were life threatening. Mike's testimony changed the course of my life and I know I will see him again. Not many left from early NDRA period, I think Duvall, Buck Simmons and Freddy Smith were my first driving hero's, they occupied a special place in time at Cherokee Speedway I will always hold in reverence and awe. There is alot of good guys out there. Not just in LM's. Every track has that select few that would go above and beyond to lend a hand, tool or part in the pit area
