A couple of guys scratched(always happens), the Moyers got kicked out. A 3 hour rain delay, races got over after midnight. People that were actually at the race were happy with only 2 races.

This isn't Cedar Lake where they need 3 consolation races just to fill up time to get the last 10 cars in the field.

I didn't know they left until Saturday. Oddly enough the T shirt rig was still there and Moyer was there signing autographs, supposedly. This was a home race for the Moyers and they weren't buried that far down in the b main. IMO, they wouldn't leave this race willing.

The only reason people didnt mind is because of the rain. there is not enough racing on saturday if you were there on thurs and fri you dont care but if your only going saturday 2 races are not enough period.

Then don't go, I'm sure you won't be missed. I was there when they had modifieds as the support. Most of the time the races didn't get over till 11:30 at night. Personally, I'm tired of these back gate promoters stuffing the big shows with classes that are unnecessary. Period.

You say back Gate promoters? How about a big huge screw job paying $35 or $40 for 2 races. I think the promotion Night 3 is a rip off. There is no where that has a A-Main and a B-Main and nothing else. I don't go there anymore but thanks for the invite to stay home.

This year we couldn't make the Thursday Friday shows and was on the fence for going Saturday, it wasn't because of not enough racing but the weather forecast so we stayed home. I like getting out of the track before 10pm but I'm old.

If you pay attention to what the format is. Then you know what you are going to get. A few years ago when they had 70 plus and had a D main. People(I'm sure you were one of them) complained on here that the D main was a waste of time.

You are so bias against Knoxville every year we can count on the same exact posts from you bitching about Knoxville. This is 6 weeks after you shove down on throats how great Cedar Lake is. Your act is getting old.

Eldora doesn't have a support class. Eastbay speedweeks doesn't have a support class. I believe by Saturday night the mods at the DWTC only run an A feature.

I'm glad they tried to push the show through on Sat to get it in before the rain.
With that being said, I do think that the admission price on Saturday is a bit high for what you get in return, especially if you can only attend Saturday.
I don't know what the answer is but maybe locking in 16 cars instead of 24 and having a couple of B mains on Sat, or maybe go to Eldora's format and the prelims seed heat races on Sat?
Having this race so close to Eldora definitely attributes to fans being able to do Saturday only, some tweaking needs to be done in consideration of that aspect.

I have no connections and this is just a prediction but look for one support class at Knoxville next year.

im sure you wont be missed either smart azz. i was there all three days and i would not go for sat only 2 races are not enough on sat. they should run heats like the world

And I was there all 3 days too. When I seen there were only 56 signed in. I knew they were only gonna have 3 races at most on Saturday.

I bet life comes at you pretty fast, doesn't it?
