I think he's went the last 2-3 years to this race; We actually went for Baltes Classic and ran 2nd in heat behind eventual feature winner John Henry. Jimmy started pole of feature that night.

SNOWMAN That list of late model drivers isn't worth watching? Wow your standards are HIGH. There's a lot of good racing at local tracks every week.

went to this event many times years ago when it was 10 grand to win and they had 60 cars. All the good UMP guys would show up as well as some top notch other guys. To me this event has taken a step backwards when it comes to late models. Its supposed to be a national championship not a typical ALMS show.

That's the reason they cut the winners share from 10 to 5k. They didn't want the big dogs for that race. The UMP Nationals was designed for the weekly racer and UMP guys. Not the touring stars. FWIW, I'm pretty sure they took the payout from the top and sprinkled it down through the field and starting pay. I'm also positive of that though it was several years ago they made that change so I cant find anything on google about it.

Wont be enough quality late models to even bother going. Unless youre into watching 100 mods its not worth it. On a bright note the place is 90% empty so pick your seat
