85 back to Bloomer and he runs very well at all the remaining tracks with numerous wins at each. Barring some bad luck I don't see Josh holding on till the end, it'll either be Tmac or Bloomquist with the title. Dixie is especially difficult for drivers who've never run there and then it still takes a while to find success. Had Josh been able to maintain a larger point spread he had a chance, but 45 back to second and 85 back to third, I don't see enough cushion to pull it off and I don't forsee any victories for the Best team going forward this season. Anything is possible, but highly improbable for Josh in 2017. It's technically a 3 horse race but the leader stepped in a gopher hole rounding the far pole and is off the pace. Portsmouth may be his only shot at pulling out a nail bitter if things go sideways at the other tracks for Tmac & Black Sunshine.Last edited by Highwayman; 09-24-2017, 09:42 AM.I was a highwayman

Really? Pittsburgh's PMS is in Josh's back yard. Steve Baker has won there numerous times over the years. Jared Miley runs the same chassis/engine combo and is super close with Josh.Originally posted by Highwayman View Post85 back to Bloomer and he runs very well at all the remaining tracks with numerous wins at each. Then you've got the DTWC. The House Car has won that two out of the last three. Mark wants that Championship more than Josh. Don't think for one second everyone involved with Rocket isn't already working on their stuff to accomplish what they set out to do. Win both major series'. The WoO deal is a lock. All resources will be utilized to help Josh be only the second man in the Sport's history to win Championships in both series.
He's the front runner and more has resources than anyone in the sport. Advantage Josh! JMO!

Josh Richards cut his dirt late model teeth at and is extraordinarily tough at PPMS. He won last year's Pittsburgher pretty handily. To dismiss his chances there is pure ignorance.

All it takes is for Josh to have 1 bad race. If that happens then T-Mac & Bloomquist will be right there as long as they don't have a bad race either. I see this as a 3 horse race coming down to the DTWC at Portsmouth. Scott has numorious victories at all 4 of the remaining tracks on the schedule & McCreadie has got a lot better as their year has progressed. For us fans I think this will be fun to watch. We know Bloomer is good at mind games but what will Josh & T-Mac do when it comes down to the nitty gritty. Those last 2 races are 100 lappers and we all know how good the 0 is at saving tires and being there at the end. Look at what happen at Batesville during the Topless 100. Yeah most of the field pitted but look who came out in top there. I think it will come down to tire choices at Portsmouth. I look for PPMS & PRP to be an exciting show for the fans between those 3 drivers. Will know it about a month who comes out on top. If T-Mac wis it then he and Scott will be the only 2 drivers with championships in both current major dirt late model series.Last edited by HoosierDirtFan; 09-24-2017, 11:03 AM.Nathan Stephens

Hate to burst you'alls bubble but Rocket Chassis will rule both National tours in 2017. I know it hurts but suck it up and accept it. It's reality

Josh looked too strong at Knoxville to be overlooked for the championship. He survived many restarts to maintain the lead.

Josh says ppms is his favorite race track every time he races there, I'm sure he licking his chops to get there. He's done won prp earlier in the year, it's not like he sucks there, plus it seems Randall has a pretty idea of what to do to the car. Tmac has more consistency than the other 2, that doesn't win titles though (unless your Ryan Dungey.) Rome may be a toss up, I still see Richards winning the title.
It's clear who the poster is that is doubting him. We shouldn't expect any less there.
