it's a real shame. esh only made 1 full lap then as he came off 2 he hit the wall a ton, did a 360 in the air then stopped. then the 00 car hit him full bore. I knew it wad bad it took forever to get him out of the car. with the head injury they were very slow getting him out of the track. hope for a full recovery. and yes doug esh is a badass posse member!!!

My youngest son and I were sitting in the pits right in front of the hoosier tire sign in turn two. Unfortunately we seen the whole thing. Rico just missed him, but 00 did not. He was sitting in the worst spot, right in the middle of the track. Seemed like the yellow/red flag took forever to come out.

Not sure why the all star officals put up blue traps on the fence. The Esh family was right next to us, and that put the whole group into unnecessary stress.

Eldora always has a dip entering turn 3. That's where all of the haulers enter the track. It gives it character.
