It says it's $5 to park. How many dirt tracks charge to park?

^^^ I don't know, but I also wouldn't be surprised if that was out of their (the dirt track) control. With it being on the property of the drag strip and across the street (so to speak) from the big track, that fee might be deemed necessary by those entities to possibly pay for things like security and clean up (from what I saw it looked like you park in an asphalt lot, not a grass field as with most tracks). As stated, I'm just speculating, but don't let that stop you from going.
With the growing number of top notch drivers expected, this is shaping up to be a great event! Give it a try at least, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

I hear ya', but from what I saw this isn't the average ordinary dirt track. If you haven't been there, I'm sure you'll find the facility to be one of the best you've been to. And yes, I know, we pay to see the racing and that's what your admission price is for, but it's dirt track racing in Illinois in the middle of October. Looking forward to it!

Dirt track doesn't control that. Dragstrip does. Besides. I've been there for each race this year and haven't paid to park yet.Nathan Stephens

I'm curious how the guaranteed starting spots for those who were at the cancelled show is going to work. Are they willing to start more cars than normal, or is anyone who was not there for that rained out show now fighting for one of maybe two or three spots? The answer could keep some guys away for the Friday show.

So from what I understand, is that Fridays show is going to be run like a new show. any teams that doesn,t make Friday's show but had made the June show will be added to the feature. So they could start more cars if that happens. Would be neat to see 30 plus cars start.
