Garnes is on a different level than most???? Im pretty confident in saying that Zac Dohm is the Swartz driver that seems to be on a different level right now. Zac ran well at the World and the Dream. Dont even remember Garnes being there.

That Rayburn of Schlenk's looked like it was shot out of a cannon coming off of #2.... like CJ says those leaf spring cars really DO work...

Garnes doesn't race much anymore. But, he indeed is very talented. Zach is pretty decent, but Garnes is more talented, IMO as well.

They're both dang good racers. But I'm not sure I'm ready to say that Garnes is more talented than Dohm. We're talking about a guy that had three top 10 crown jewel runs this season. I do agree, that I would like to see Garnes race a little more. He use to dominate the local scene in the mid ohio valley like Tyler Carpenter is doing now.

Decent? Lol this Swartz car is the first brand new race car he has driven since Seymour closed up shop about 7 years ago. Zack's won 3 or 4 10k to win races in that time, and started outside of the top 10 in all of his top 10 finishes in the Dream, World, and North South. Garnes hasn't ran well in 3 years, ever since AMRA started doing random tire tests. Anybody that watched him win that WoO show at I-77 all those years ago could tell something was up

I agree on everything you said about Zack. However, I don't with Garnes. Don't quote me on this, but I believe the reason Garnes doesn't race as much anymore is because of family problems. If I'm wrong about that, let me know. He probably hasn't raced 10 times this season. Garnes was every bit as good as anyone has been locally in the MOV. Don't think the tire testing is accurate at all.

Yes. He is in a good car and makes good laps. He doesn't jump off the page when I watch him race. There is more to it than results. Not knocking the guy at all. He can win races. He isn't some excellent talent.

And Garnes is very good. He just doesn't race anymore, for whatever reason. He hasn't done much in 3 years because he hasn't raced regularly since 2013, I believe.

It was Rusty's first night on 4 bar.

You better not have just said 4 bar.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

By logic someone like Kody Evans is better than Dohm because he's exciting to watch, results are literally the name of the game. Believe me I've watched them both a ton since they first started. I like Garnes, but Zack is way more versatile behind the wheel.

I have seen and Zach a ton as well. You don't understand what I am saying. Right now Evans is kinda 1 dimensional. He has the part you can't teach, but needs some time to develop the finesse.
