If setting fast time at a regional race is the mark of a great driver, GR Smith would be the GOAT.

Chris was the man to beat for several years at Skyline, I77 and Ohio Valley Speedway. He ran very well in a Rayburn, then switched to Swartz and didn't skip a beat. I can't remember what car he had when he won the Outlaws race.Originally posted by 00Hdmn View PostHe might have dominated I-77 but other tracks weren't dominating, Jared Hawkins has won a WoO race, Tim Dohm has won a WoO race. I didn't say he was good I just stated he isn't in the Top 5 drivers that race in that area.
Other racers belittling Chris for his lifestyle is why he fell off. He just got tired of it and walked away for a while. His dad keeps the car going and has another driver race it from time to time when Chris doesn't want to race. I'm not sure if he's ready to give it a go again or not.

Zach Dohm wins at the Pond. Passed Marlar to do it. Whoever thinks Chris Garnes is superior to Dohm needs to think on it a bit. Dohm has traveled around the region the past few years, and has a bunch of successful runs. Garnes, while a decent racer, has never done much outside of the I-77/Ohio Valley/Skyline circuit. We'll miss ya Doc Watson...

Let r eat .... are you serious right now with this Chris Garns is Bloomquist thing ?? If I was looking for a driver he wouldn't be one of the first 150 people I would call. ```````hucktyson's post
I'm serious as a heart attack. I haven't compared him to Bloomquist although he has outrun him before in what most would call "junk".BUCKLE UP NOW, YA HEAR?

Sounds like it was a good race. Carpenter got back up to 3rd after that blown tire. Hopefully there will be video of it soon.Originally posted by 71PRPFan View PostBoggs led 27 laps at atomic before a lap car got into him. Right race between him and carpenter. Tyler blew a tire several laps later.
RJ wins this one
