I don't think it was a fail. I believe the car was a throwback to the 1986 car. Go look at them 2 cars side by side and you will see they are pretty d@mn close in resemblance except for the flames. I think it had nothing to do with the years at BWRC at his teammate Ronnie Johnson or any other years.

It was quoted in a press release by Lucas oil that the car would be mid 90s bwrc scheme.

Everyone is talking about the wrap. Really ? He better find out why he's falling behind the xr-1's and longhorns going into next year. Let's talk about the pic posted here. What the heck is that covering the sidewall on the right front axle grease ?

Plastic ? Why would it not have come off as the rest did ? I don't think Bloomer would have taken the chance the plastic got wrapped up inside the tire .

Look closely, the whole tire still has the plastic on it.

He’s pretty much the only one in a SB car, he battles for the championship to the very end, and loses to the Longhorn house car and pretty close to a second Rocket house car.

His cars ain’t the issue. The issue is their lack of organization, time management, and prioritizing things.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

True but he also had the mechanical issues for about 4-5 events consecutivley also. But I do recall those longhorns and rockets chasing him quite a few times this season

Since I have been watching Bloomer for 30 years, his car wrap looked pretty familiar to me.

I really don't think his chassis is off too far,he was running second closing the gap but wore right rear out. That can be adjusted. It's not like he was not challenging for the win. I believe McCreadie's longhorn burned off 2 right rears.

It's not plastic, it's like a type cellophane material. Most of these guys do it now days. All star performance sells the stuff, and there is even a rig out to help apply it.

You will see some guys try saran wrap, it doesn't last very long once it hits the ground.

Right. Which, like I’ve said before, the crew, time management, he needs a team manager who can keep them on track, on schedule, and prioritizing things. Instead of the train wreck that was this year.
