I can't see the Dohms cheating. Doesn't sound right. He said on his post that he just bought the tires Wednesday. Maybe something dripped on them at the factory or the test lab?

When One Gets Called Wrong Does He Get The Sample Back Or The Series On What He Used For Juice Or Is This All Off Trust From Lab Or What Just Does Meet The Benchmark Mean .

          Some of you are morons.
You really think all these guys that have been busted over the last 5 or 6 years actually cheated.
          Come on man.
Zach would be one of the last people I would expext to even consider it.
Some of you need to use for f#ck!ng heads more.
Just go look at his current Facebook post stating he will have is own tire test done.
If He does good for him and lets start putting doubt on these touring series, tracks, & sanctions and their b.s.
Think about it for a second and realize these drivers are better people then some of the sanctions, series, & track personal and wouldn't even consider doing this.
He could have easily ran though something at the track that was wet and that was the part of the tire they happen to tack a sample from.
There are a few different cenerios that could have happened.
Stop and think about it before you drag a good play by the rules drivers name through the mud on a public forum.
Not talking about all of ya just a select few.

When somebody goes overboard trying to clear their name it makes them seem guilty in my eyes.

There is the old adage in racing that if you aren’t cheating, you aren’t trying hard enough. That’s true, but tires are always tested anymore, find a new area to play in.

JB - Not true that saying is a joke. We try hard with are small modified team and we don't event consider cheating. We would fight tooth and nails to clear are names and those who would try and drag us through the mud.

They should find a way to test right at the track that night instead of sending off to lab.

Sorry to hear either way. If he did do it that's to bad, but, if he didn't that would be worse. I hope he can prove himself or now he will be loop in the group that have or at least have been accused.

A few years ago we went to the toilet bowl in our crate car they told us they would durometer tires after the drivers meeting. I wasn't worried we had just purchased brand new tires from Hoosier Midwest lm 40's bought 4 mounted them traveled to Tennessee track owner tested our tires not 1 passed his durometer I hope I spelled that correctly, I/we didn't do anything to soften them, then Sam Driggers came and checked them with his durometer they we're way closer but still didn't meet the minimum. We were allowed to race. My point is many , many variables when it comes to tires. Had we been dqed, I would have flipped out I had a 12 year old driver. So if I see or read about tire d'qs I question whether they are legit anymore.

If you don’t ever cheat, then you wouldn’t have a tire come back hot.

The moral high ground 4M takes with tire tests is absolutely laughable. According to 4M, is ever guilty but Terry Casey (he admitted it), Stephane LaFrance (he admitted it, too) and Chris Madden. It’s always big bad WRG is out to get everybody like it’s some kind of New World Order trying to kill off racing entirely or the lab is hilariously incompetent. Nobody EVER cheats tires.

Yes, once, the lab did actually screw up a test (Autry) one time, however, even in that case the boo boo wasn’t even on the lab itself, but on the tire company because because they failed to provide the right control sample.

Come the f*ck on. Racers cheat. Sometimes they get caught cheating.

Nobody is going to care about this by Thanksgiving.

Everybody does it, nobody admits it. Some "prep" makers offer some pretty good stuff that pass the blue ridge lab test and they offer stuff that wont change durometer on a 1600 but feel like youre on 1200's in the first corner and never goes away but would fail before its ever taken out of the sample bag. I thought "doping" was only done by the regional standouts til i saw a tire dope mfr's personal facebook page and we had mutual friends of guys i race with, guys that i read about that were running good and even pro guys. Its happening, get on board or get outran. Yea its dangerous but most guys could care less.

Ha. You think them tire test are bullet proof from messing up or something could happen in the process. Weather the tires where on the car when rolled through a puddle, maybe a substance on the ground that said tire rolled over, something happen to the tire sample in the process of being shipped to the lab, only god knows what may have a happen. We can speculate all you want but unless your the team, track, or lab will never know for sure. Guess will chalk it up to another one of those who we may never really know what happen.
