I agree with that as well Bayko. However what's a driver to do when one driver has something that the others don't. Everybody else buys it to catch up, then it's on to the next thing.

You used to be able to come up with your own stuff to combat the ultra high dollar stuff. You can’t anymore. Ingenuity is a huge no-no.

I got agree.. look what penske and Scott try do few years ago with them shocks. Think it was good ban, it could drove prices up even higher. Now you have rocket shocks that pretty much doing same thing but not ban yet. But yet rumble simple fabricate device that would cost you $500 - 800 to make or $1000 - 1500 to buy and hold up lot longer and gets ban. Which pretty much does the same thing as rocket shocks, ect brand.

Wondering with this new team put together. Ex Lucas Tec guy, tire Tec, smart engineer, Martin are they going change the rule for the good or pushing it further for the worst.

They do need to tighten the rule books, and enforce the rules they got. Because Rocket, Rumley, Bloomer, Longhorn, and the top racing manufacturers are just going to keep putting this sh!t into orbit.

The tighter the rulebook, the more the parts within the box created by said rules cost, and more money pours into finding ways to excel within the box. More rules are the last thing the sport needs.

Just enforcing the rules they currently have for at least the next five years and teching diligently and often would be a good start towards curbing costs.

Do you really think that a mega funded team like that relying heavily on engineering is a good thing for the sport overall ?? A guy willing to spend 2 million to bring in 500k is a good thing ?

How long them air shock last before rebuilding them or buying new and improve shocks. Do agree with you on every thing you said.

Neither Landers, or Martin are putting much if any personal money into this team. The sponsors listed, along with product sponsors are the one paying the majority of the bill. Great exposure for everyone involved! As mentioned it will be interesting to see who loses some, if not all of CPS sponsorship.

A new toter/stacker is a half million dollars. So you add in a handful of cars and spares and motors and a full time employee or two and you’re well over a million before you ever turn a lap.
