Kevin deserves a lot of credit with the turnaround of the rocket cars,I think we all forgot that at the end of 16’ he spent some time in w.virginia.and if you look at a longhorn/rocket they look a lot like each other .so with that being said it will be interesting with the money behind jd/Kevin what they can accomplish, I can’t wait, and for you guys that think that guy from Mooresburg is washed up I’ve got some good stuff I’ll sell you.
Rumley has get a nice job making rockets fast again

I think you forget that Richards tore up the whole 2016 season and that was before Kevin had no team to work with

And I think you are forgetting JD destoyed everyone in 2015, and the new redesigned XR1 started late in 2015 after Kevin supposedly helped MarkOriginally posted by Bowling Dr. View PostI think you forget that Richards tore up the whole 2016 season and that was before Kevin had no team to work with

Dude, mark has been 1 guy that hasn't sat on his Johnson selling the same car over and over. Look at some of the other builders that now want back in. There no longer on top because they didn't run a house car in the fashion rocket does. Rumley's good everyone understands that. But to say rocket needed help to turn around, come on. Mark keeps Rocket on top because he is not afraid of change and will continue to do so. Never know the XR-2 mite be on the table already.

Rumley making Rockets fast again? Probably the most ignorant statement ever posted on 4m.
Stay tuned for 2018. Rumley is gonna turn Bloomers operation around next

Please explain why? Everyone was talking about Rockets demise in 2014 and 2015.Originally posted by Highside Hustler25 View PostRumley making Rockets fast again? Probably the most ignorant statement ever posted on 4m.

The dots are there. I connected them. I don't say things are so, just because I believe something on faith alone.Originally posted by Highside Hustler25 View PostAnd you think Kevin is the one that saved Rocket Chassis? Come on, I give you more credit than that.lolModern Day Spec Wedge Racing

The rumors of the demise were greatly exaggerated. They were still selling craploads of cars.Originally posted by MasterSbilt_Racer View PostPlease explain why? Everyone was talking about Rockets demise in 2014 and 2015.

If you notice, the “rough†years were the years Richards was out and then the year he was just getting back into the groove. Having an excellent driver in the house car that wins races and championships tends to influence public perception.Originally posted by MasterSbilt_Racer View PostNot disputing that.

Josh wasn't behind the wheel and the feedback was gone. He got back in and was running for wins immediately. The person a lot of people forget about is Steve Baker. I'm not sure how long he has been with Rocket but the guy is really well liked . Again I'll say it. Mark runs that operation like no one else that I know of in the chassis business. He has surrounded himself with quality people. He out sells every other builder by at least 2 to 1 and that number is low. His house car has major sponsorship, the best team is a second house car with dollars behind them also. Longhorn is building there business and following what Mark has accomplished at Rocket as a template. 2018 will be a good year between those 2. I just wonder if Longhorn is going to get a car in both series ? And you can never count the GOAT out.

As I recall, Josh made most of his hay in August and Sept of 2015 after they started running the split cage deal. He wasn't on fire for a while. Which is why Clanton won the title.Originally posted by dirtcrazy4u View PostJosh wasn't behind the wheel and the feedback was gone. He got back in and was running for wins immediately.
