Looks like brandy baker has purchased lancaster speedway in sc. Going to do a complete overhaul and working on getting a national event for late models.

Last time I was at Lancaster was for the UDTRA a long time ago, stood right on the front stretch fence and couldn't see crap for the dust....Worst I've ever seen.

I go to all the super shows. Great racing every time. Great food. Facility needs mantinance bad.

I heard from the horses mouth they want to shorten it after 2018 season. I hope not because I love the long straightaways.....

No 311 is closest to me but no suoers there in last 2 yrs til this past oct they ran a ultimate race

Lancaster was one of the worst dust bowls in the past but certainly not so in more recent years. Rumor mill says they want to shorten the track and flatten the turns.....both of which will be a mistake, IMO. Every track doesn't need to be a short track as long tracks are becoming fewer and fewer.

I spent a week there one weekend.......racing was pretty good, winner got screwed on some stupid tire folly.
