Anyone know anything about the Rayburn that Marlar drove? Was it an older Rayburn or one of the new swing arm/z link/ 4 bar cars? Curious, because Mike has maintained a relationship with CJ, and periodically has driven a Rayburn. I think the last time was a race at 411 a few years back.

Not sure on Marlar, but I believe Mahoney was the newer style Rayburn

It had a s9 on the roof nose piece and fuel cell so I figured it was the car schleiper tried a comeback in.

Im not sure about Marlar's. Im almost positive Mahoney was in a crate/swingarm car. It actually ran strong in it's heat.

I imagine if Marlar unloaded the 157 instead of Rayburn’s car we’re talking about Marlar beating the locals and regional guys. The Rayburn looked like it was tight. That said, Jackie most definitely earned it, congrats to him. The cool thing was the mix of cars that showed. Freddie and Tyler Carpenter, Boggs, Jason Welshan, the Ashby’s, Eddie Carrier, Greg Johnson, Mahoney, and Bob Gardner. Plus the usual KY cream including Chilton, Gerald, Fouts, and the Marlars. All in all, a good show for Hardgrove and LCS.
