One thing I like a lot better about these cars in the 80s and early 90s was the cars colors, like that Moyer car above, you don't see that kind of red and yellow on cars today. Why when it is much more appealing?

I think today’s cars look a little garish with how crooked the bodies are all over. I like the bodies from around 10 years ago better.

1991, like the car Bloomer drove that was pictured on the front of Stock Car Racing Magazine, that to me was the perfect looking LM body style.

Probably mid 70s when some guys would take a Vega body an make the front longer,I thought that was a mean looking late model

It's all about the "wraps" nowdays. Who can get the wildest.

I really liked that Francis/valvoline car, but I have to go with the cars they are running now, watching them work on any track from a big 1/2 mile to a small bullring.. reminds me why I’m a dirt late model fan!!

That Valvoline Francis car is a modern car. He ran it at the DTWC.

I seen a pic of a car at rockets shop on their fb with just the deck on the car you can really see it looks like a big bowl...

Had my old Mastersbilt on my trailer a while back and some guy told me he liked my dune buggy... that's one reason we don't have big crowds anymore... how many people don't know what the heck we are running? Might as well be spaceship races...

Nobody is b***ing, @thefast141. The topic of the thread refers to what body styles of the past that people like. If you are so offended by it, then move on to the next thread. This is a message board, and people can express their opinions however they like. I bet you wouldn't say that to any one of us in person.

The current cars and the wedges. Would like to see a modern version of the wedge.

I have always liked the wedge cars with the sideboards and the late 80's and early 90's bodies

The early-mid 80s wedge cars with sideboards would sometimes out qualify the 410 sprint cars on the same track. Fast!
