they are currently working on both the west and east sides, while nothing is set in stone as of yet, they will release a statement in a few weeks

grt74: hope they have a plan that can work. as stated in the other thread, they have a history to build on. but with the contraction of open late model racing, regional tours are on the endangered species list. tough to pay a purse/points fund with a limited number of race teams and tracks willing to take on the expenses of a commitment.

more likely a return to the once upon a time days when tracks hosted their own special events with today's sanctioning fees going into the purse for what's left of an area's hot shoes.

i have pitched that idea also, i think it can be done on the local level to pick supers back up (to have a bigger purse weekly)
im going to stay in the late model world as long as i can, i would like to be on the owner of a series side but i still want to keep racing (im not that old just yet) and think it wouldn't work because people won't like that i owned a series, but im going to stay involved for years to come
i just really believe late models are watered down into to many different classes, supers/crates/limited/spec and so on
run supers and let guys move up or down, racing will get better in both classes that they move to,

but back to the post guys they are working on this really hard, and when the info comes out ill post
