Top 5 either series with 4 series wins would be a good year. The kid is going to do really well.Modern Day Spec Wedge Racing

Who know's he might just excel in the Rocket chassis and this might be the best move for him but, only time will tell. I would at least give him a couple of years under his belt with the new team and chassis before I would make any judgement on how he is doing.

Have to agree with BBQ on this one. I don't see how the WoO tour benefits the primary sponsor on the car, given the # of races WoO has in the upper Midwest, Northeast, and Canada.Originally posted by Barbecueboy View PostLucas......
Could be wrong...maybe there's a ton of DLM lovin' Baptist in those areas looking to send their kids to University in Kentucky!?!?

Bobby is going to be blazing fast in the xr1 car. The monster ry45 motors might be an issue but the dude is an absolute stud wheel man and will adapt very quick. A guy who can win crown Jews in a car with very little side bite and very little forward bite it's going to be though to beat in a car that makes plenty of both. I think you have to understand that stuff he was winning Crown Jewels with to really understand how good he is .

Not sure what some are expecting right out of the gate but, for me I'm going to give him time with a new team and new chassis to see how he does.
I think this just proved what some of us were saying that team Pirece didn't have the money to run a national tour. I would say they did pretty good with what they had to work with but, now can he get the job done on the national level and I would say within a couple of years he will, heck who knows he just might this year.

I think team owners would be smart to start going after sponsors like tech schools or colleges, especially after all the positive publicity Liberty university got sponsoring William Byron. Who ever heard of that school, and now it's a Cup sponsor.
